Alvin L. Daniels Jr.

Alvin L. Daniels Jr. is a native of the state of Florida. He grew up in and began his professional career in the community of Delray Beach. His spiritual journey began under the teaching of the late Brother James S. Fredrick, and he was baptized into the Church in April of 1987 under the leadership of Dr. I.C. Spivey of the 15th Avenue Church of Christ, Delray Beach, FL. Alvin L. Daniels Jr. is married to the former Cynthia R. Kinnel of Delray Beach, FL. They have three wonderful and compassionate children who love serving the Lord.

Brother Daniels began his spiritual service by attending International Bible College in Florence, Alabama. His studies emphasized doctrine and evangelism. While attending IBC, he ministered to and worked with several churches in the Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee areas. Brother Daniels has worked extensively in the arena of at-risk and delinquent youth. He has been very involved in counseling and mentoring children in serious habitual offender programs (SHO) and he has held several supervisory positions, including Director of Children’s Services in South Georgia. He holds a BA Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Valdosta State University.

His Ministerial experiences include serving as youth minister to the Lake Ida Church of Christ of Delray Beach, FL.; Associate Minister to the Deerfield Church of Christ, Deerfield Beach, FL.; Minister to the Boca Delray Congregation, Delray Beach, FL.; Minister of the Courtland Avenue Church of Christ, Quitman, GA.; and Minister to the Pembroke Park Church of Christ in Hollywood, FL. Bro. Daniels has conducted and participated in a series of workshops, conferences, and lectureships. Antwan D. Brown

A Study of Kingship Psalms: Submitting to the Sovereign

Antwan D. Brown, a native of Albany, GA, is a veteran of the US Army and a retired Federal employee. After returning from Iraq at the age of 25 years old, Antwan got serious about his calling into the ministry. he labored with churches in Georgia, Louisiana, and South Carolina. Since June 2021, he has worked with the Chapel Hill Church of Christ (Macon, GA) as the Senior Minister.

Antwan’s favorite scripture is Romans 12:1-2. Antwan can often be heard saying, “I love God, I love God’s Word, and I love God’s people.” Antwan attempts to demonstrate this through his faithfulness to God, meticulous studies, exposition of God’s Word, and his love for all people.

Bro Brown and his wife Florence have been married for over 20 years and have one daughter, Zaire.

Antwan is an avid reader and seeks to be a lifelong student. His desire is not to be the best preacher but the best student of the Word. He wants to share with others what he has learned so that they may grow, carry out the Great Commission to “make disciples,” and make Heaven their home.

Demarcco S. J. Owens

Cultivating Resilience: Strategies for Self–Care and Preventing Burn Out in Ministry

Demarcco S. J. Owens was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is an AVID Indianapolis Colts Fanatic!  He and his wife, the former Candace Cook, have been married for 24 years. He has four children; Kynnedy, Jailyne, Kimbra, and Kyra.  Additionally, he is a proud grandfather. 

Demarcco has served in the Lord’s Church in various capacities including being the Senior Pastor of two congregations– Madison Avenue Church of Christ (Wichita, KS) and Sunset Boulevard Church of Christ (Columbia, SC). Having been a former athlete, Demarcco began coaching basketball so he may be involved in the molding process of young men. His main objective was/is to be a “Real-Model” instead of a “Role-Model” for young men struggling or just needing that positive influencer who will drive them in the right direction.  He has had the privilege of coaching as an assistant and head basketball coach of middle, high school, and college teams.  God blessed him to return to Southwestern Christian College, where he played, and serve as the Athletic Director and Head Men’s Basketball Coach.  His playing and coaching accomplishments include state title champion, four conference titles, two area titles, three regional championships, three district championships, several tournament championships, coach of the year, but most of all providing a God-centered approach to the lives of young men. 

Demarcco received his Certificate of Ministry from Southwestern Christian College (Terrell, TX).  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Religion and Gerontology with a Minor in Psychology from Wichita State University (Wichita, KS).  Also, he received his Master of Arts in Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Biblical Interpretations and Family Counseling from Friends University (Wichita, KS).  Currently, he is working on a Doctor of Education degree in Community Care and Counseling with an emphasis in Traumatology from Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA).  He received Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) units to further his educational and practical experience. Demarcco is a Certified Pastoral Counselor (CPC), Certified Mental Health Specialist (CMHS), Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist (BHRS), and an integrated Christian Counselor/Therapist who believes that God can help reveal, recover, and reunited anyone who does the mental, physical and spiritual work to find HIM! 

Dr. Nicholas A. Glenn

Expository Preaching as a Catalyst of church Growth and Development

Dr. Nicholas A. Glenn is a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  He was baptized into Christ in January of 1987 at the age of 8 at the Redland Church of Christ in Advance, North Carolina.  He began preaching the gospel at age 14. 

In November 2002, he became an Assistant Minister at the South English Street Church of Christ, now known as the Sharpe Road Church of Christ in Greensboro, North Carolina.  In 2013, he became the Associate Minister at Sharpe and served in that capacity for approximately four years.  On January 15, 2017, he was installed as the minister and presently serves in that capacity.   

He has been privileged to preach at several congregations throughout the brotherhood and has conducted various workshops, lectureships, and gospel meetings.  

Dr. Glenn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, as well as a Master of Arts in Theological Studies and a concentration in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University.  He also completed his Doctor of Ministry degree with a concentration in Biblical Exposition from Carolina University.   

Dr. Glenn has been married to Dr. Nikki Glenn of Winston-Salem, North Carolina since July 2003 and they are blessed with one daughter, Nia Glenn. 

Dr. Kelvin Teamer

Empowering Volunteer Engagement: Mobilizing and Equipping the Church Body

Dr. Kelvin E. Teamer serves as the Adults Minister at the North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Prior to laboring in this capacity, he served as the Senior Minister and Evangelist of the Church of Christ at Bouldercrest in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Teamer has previously occupied the roles of Youth Minister and Spiritual and Family Development Minister at the Bouldercrest church as well. 

Kelvin graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in degree in Marketing. After completing his studies, he went on to work in the corporate sector with a number of firms before being drawn into a life of ministry.

His ministerial pursuits led him to further his education at the Georgia School of Preaching and Biblical Studies, where he graduated in 2005. Kelvin then went on to receive his Master of Divinity degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009 from Amridge University. He graduated with his Doctor of Ministry degree in 2016 also from Amridge. He now serves as an Adjunct Professor of Theology at Amridge University. 

He is the author of Kingdom Life: Experiencing God’s Reign Through Love and Holiness.

Kelvin has been married to Kim for the past 25 years and they have two children, Joshua and Jordan.

Dr. Darwin L. Mason, Jr.

The Art of Delegation: Empowering Others to Fulfill Potential

Dr. Darwin L. Mason, Jr. is a servant leader who has spent the past 20 years molding young minds in the classroom; leading diverse faculties in suburban and urban districts and independent schools; and guiding adults, teens, and children in their faith walks with God. His ability to lead and change organizations enriches positive cultures at schools and churches across Middle Tennessee. Dr. Mason serves as a thought leader, minister, volunteer, counselor, coach, missionary, youth leader, organizer, and mentor to children and adults.  

Dr. Mason, currently the Minister at the Hillsboro Church of Christ, has ministerial experience at both the Hart Street Church of Christ and Shrader Lane Church of Christ in Nashville, TN. This involvement, plus his extensive educational experience at Ensworth School, Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, and Franklin Special School District, combine to inspire those in the Hillsboro Church Family and beyond to be the hands and feet of God in the world. Dr. Mason believes the people of God must remain faithful to the biblical principles and practices that shape the understanding of mission while being open to new contexts and challenges that may require churches and individuals to adapt their approach. His time as a preacher, teacher, and ministry leader continues to reaffirm the Christian mission is not a human endeavor but a participation in God’s redemptive work in the world, guided and empowered by the Holy Spirit, and ultimately leading to the fulfillment of God’s kingdom.  

Whether in the classroom or in the pulpit, Dr. Mason is a visionary leader who is known for creating a climate that emboldens productive struggle. He continues to prove strategic leadership and vision creation, tailored to an organization’s needs, cultivates a positive culture.   Dr. Mason contends that intentional focus on people and an organization’s mindset is critical to celebrating culture, which is vital to organizational development. Because of his successes at Nashville-area schools, Dr. Mason also shares his wisdom in cultural competence with other current and aspiring instructional leaders as an Arbinger trainer and as an adjunct professor at Lipscomb University and Motlow State College. Dr. Mason looks forward to further integrating his educational and ministerial experience as an adjunct professor in Lipscomb University’s Bible Department in 2024. 

Dr. Mason holds a B.A. in music vocal performance and psychology from Fisk University, an M.Ed. in administration and supervision from Tennessee State University, and a Master of Theological Studies and an Ed.D. in Learning Organizations and Strategic Change from Lipscomb University. 

Dr. Mason values family first and foremost! He has been blissfully married to Kayla for 16 years. His daughter Deryn is a seventh-grade student at Ensworth School, and his son Darwin III is a second-grade student at Ensworth School.

Dr. O.J. Shabazz

The Word of God: Relevant or Revelation

Dr. Shabazz is the evangelist at the Harlem Church of Christ in New York City, New York, where he has served for Twenty-three years. He is recognized as a national evangelist to the Churches of Christ, having preached the gospel in thirty-eight states and five foreign nations. Over the years, he has become widely known as a church builder, sharp administrator, and a biblical exegete.

Dr. Shabazz is married to LVR Shabazz; they have seven children, three girls and four boys (two of whom have preceded them in death), and nine grandchildren.

To date, he has served three congregations of the Churches of Christ in his ministry. For twelve years, he served as a minister to the Boulevard Church of Christ in Memphis, Tennessee, where the Church grew from 125 active members to 750 active members in eight years. As minister to the Eastside Church of Christ (where he served for six years), the congregation grew from 80 to 230 active members in five years.

Dr. Shabazz currently serves as a minister to the church of Christ in Harlem, New York City, where he has baptized over one thousand souls in the past twenty-three years.

Jacques D. Pittman

Let’s Go to Work (1 Cor. 15:58)

Minister Jacques D. Pittman was born in Memphis, TN.  As the visionary leader of the Center Street Church of Christ, Jacques is a Christian educator and counselor who is a catalyst for positive change through his service and dedication to the ministry. He first served as Assistant Minister, Minister of Music, Boy Scout Leader, and Prison Outreach Minister with the Hinds County Correctional Facilities Prison Ministry under the tutelage and leadership of his father, Dr. Curtis W. Pittman at the Hanging Moss Road Church of Christ in Jackson, Mississippi.

Along with his father, he also works under the auspices of his father-in-law, Dr. Harvey M. Jackson, Minister of the Lampton Street Church of Christ in Mound Bayou, Mississippi, and has been privileged to sing and preach God’s word in many states, conduct gospel meetings and to speak at various lectureships, seminars, youth programs and workshops across the brotherhood and abroad. He serves as a board member for the Mississippi State Lectureship for the Churches of Christ and the Mississippi State Youth Conference.

Jacques is employed as a Campus Enforcement Officer for Jackson Public Schools and has served dutifully in this capacity for the past 18 years. During his tenure, he has been the recipient of the Jackson Public School Superintendent’s Golden Bowtie Award in recognition of outstanding service to the school district. Jacques was also featured in an article entitled, “Restoration Ministries” in a publication of The Brotherhood Journal magazine.

He is married to Kimberly, an elementary school principal, and they share in the joy of raising two girls, Zakylia and Zemira. Together, they minister to the congregants of the area and seek to empower others through various ministries and the preaching and teaching of God’s word. Jacques is an avid Dallas Cowboys enthusiast who enjoys traveling, singing, and preaching God’s word. His personal motto is “To God be the glory for the great things that He has done!” His ministerial motto is “May the Work that I’ve Done Speak for Me!”

Tim Anderson Jr

Spirit: Building a Culture of Complimentary Ministry

Tim Anderson, Jr. is a native of Kansas City, Kansas, and a distinguished leader in his field.
Currently serving as the Director of Resident Services in the Montgomery Housing
Authority, Tim has a rich background in leadership and community development, having
held various positions in Indiana and Kansas.


With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Tim serves as the CEO of Cleveland Consulting & Co.
in Montgomery, Alabama. During his tenure, he has displayed remarkable leadership
skills and spearheaded innovative initiatives. Tim’s dedication led to national recognition
from the National District Attorney’s Association (NDAA) for his exceptional work in
family violence through his tenure as Executive Director of the Montgomery County
District Attorney’s Office Department of the Helping Montgomery Families Initiative.
Through strategic partnerships, he improved program quality, introduced new techniques,
and developed trauma-focused strategies to assist families impacted by community
violence.


Tim’s academic journey is equally impressive. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical
Studies from Heritage Christian University then pursued a Master of Science degree in
Human Services from Amridge University. Additionally, he completed the course
requirements for a Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy while at Amridge.
Currently, Tim is in the dissertation phase of a Doctorate of Ministry in Family Therapy,
focusing his research on the unique impact of divorce on African American families.


Recognized for his progressive leadership style, Tim has been actively involved in church
communities across Alabama, Indiana, and Kansas. His focus areas have encompassed
youth and family ministry, leadership development, campus renovation, community
partnership, and racial reconciliation. Tim’s dedication to empowering others has taken
him across the United States and internationally to Italy, the Bahamas, and Guatemala,
where he conducted workshops on family dynamics, leadership, and spiritual growth.

As the CEO of Cleveland Consulting & Co., Tim has provided invaluable consultancy
services to schools, churches, and business organizations. He has tackled critical issues
and needs, ranging from organizational assessments, decision rights, and change
leadership to capability assessments and planning strategies. His expertise and unique skill
set will now benefit the Montgomery Housing Association, where he aims to increase
opportunities for residents by providing essential resources for stability, self-sufficiency,
and financial empowerment.


Tim’s personal life is anchored by his faith in God and his loving relationship with his
wife, Jamia, and their five beautiful children. Together, they find fulfillment in supporting
one another and contributing positively to their community.

Dr. Ammar Saheli

The Characteristics of a Kingdom Team Player

Dr. Ammar Saheli has served as the Ministering Evangelist of the West Oakland Church of Christ since January 2001. His biological and spiritual parents of the gospel are John Jeffrey and the late Andrea Jeffrey. Ammar is married to the beautiful Tonya Saheli, who is the daughter of Frank and the late Jean Jones. They have five children: Sade, Najja, Zion, Shiloh, and Seven Enoch (Deceased).


Ammar was raised at the Uptown Church of Christ in San Francisco. While at Uptown, Ammar grew up listening to the powerful and pounding sermons of the late Bro. J. M. Butler Sr., and the smooth and illustrative messages of Dr. Billy Curl. Dr. Saheli preached his first sermon at age 12 and received most of his Biblical training and discipleship under his father, John Jeffrey (retired elder of the Uptown Church of Christ), and through personal study. In addition to his father’s influence, counsel, and discipleship, Ammar was mentored for ministry by James E. Austin, Jr., the late Tino Serrano, and his wife, Pacita Serrano.


Ammar has a deep passion for serving the people of God and preaching the Word. Proverbs 4:26
guides his life: “Ponder the path of thy feet and let all thy ways be established.” In addition to
serving as Ministering Evangelist, Ammar Saheli works as the Director of Student Support
Services in the San Lorenzo Unified School District, CEO of Saheli7 Educational Consulting,
and teaches multiple courses in the Graduate School of Counseling at San Francisco State
University. Dr. Saheli is the author of the 2018 book, Eerie Silence: Race/Racism Explored
Across Educational, Theological, and Justice Continuums Amidst America and Beyond.


Educationally, Dr. Saheli holds a BA in Psychology (1997) and a Master of Science degree in
Counseling, both from San Francisco State University (Marriage & Family Therapy & School
Counseling specializations, 1999). He also earned a Doctorate in International & Multicultural
Education from the University of San Francisco (2003). Additionally, he holds California School
Counseling (PPS) and School Administrative Credentials.
